A new Texas law requires appraisal districts to review all homestead exemptions for residential property. These reviews ensure that your property tax bills are accurate and fair. Caldwell County Appraisal District has hired Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson to conduct this review. Caldwell CAD may send a letter to some taxpayers requesting information. These letters instruct taxpayers to contact Linebarger and provide documentation to validate their homestead exemption. If you receive a letter, please respond right away.
If you have any concerns during this process, you can reach our office at 512-398-5550.
