2021 Low Income Housing Development Capitalization Rate
Pursuant to Sec. 11.1825(r) of the Texas Property Tax Code, the Caldwell County Appraisal District hereby gives public notice of the capitalization rate to be used to value low income housing development.
The basic capitalization rate to be used to value these properties is 8.50% to 9.50%; although adjustments may be made based on the individual property characteristics and the information provided to the chief appraiser as required under Sections 11.182 (d) and (g), Property Tax Code.
2020 taxes are now delinquent.

The 2021 Appraisal Values have been certified as of July 19, 2021.
AG Applications can no longer be accepted for the 2021 tax year.
You may apply for the 2022 Tax Year for AG applications.
Processing of Deeds for Ownership changes are currently as of recorded date June 30, 2021.
All property splits & subdivision created after May 12, 2021 will be split for 2022 tax year during October 2021.
